SRS lights
Hey guys.. I believe there is a connection issue with my passenger seat. I had the light first come on after getting a 9500Ci installed. I thought it was because of some of the wiring the guys had done.. I felt around under the seat and tried to make all the connections tight and took it to the dealer who reset the light. All was good.. Today I took my boss for a ride in it and the SRS light was coming on/off quite frequently (drove for about 30 mins adn it came on/off 3 or 4 times). I have driven with my girlfriend (about 140lbs) lots and never had the issue. My boss is about 210lbs and im thinking this may be some of the issue. Does anyone have a how-to to get access to all the wiring under the seat (I would like to disconnect everything and add some contact grease to all connection and ensure they are all plugged in tight)? Like I said originally I just felt around and tried to tighten some up and after getting the dealer to reset the light it was fine.

four torx screws, raise seat, slide fully forward, remove screws at rear end of runners, once screws are out slide off plastic runner end caps, slide seat fully back, slide off front runner end caps ( lift tab carefully, can be brittle, but not expensive ) remove front two screws. slide whole seat slightly to rear (disengages large hook from bar ) now seat can be rocked back to gain access to wiring and module, module held on by two screws and then pulled forward, all connections under cover, colour coded. hope this helps.
