I need to remove the accumulator to check if it's failing. I can see it's located on bottom of the car next to the front passenger side's wheel.
Questions I have:
1. Do I need to depressurize the system prior to removing it? If so, how?
2. When removing it, will there be a lot of fluid coming out?
3. Will the car lower when the accumulator is removed? I want to watch my head & body, of course.
4. Are there more than one accumulator ***** on the 2002 CL500?

I have plan to replace the front left accumulator (number 14). I just wondering whether I have to open both the bleeder screws (number 56) in front right and left, or just need to open one bleeder screws in the front left side only.
Here I attached the picture.
You don't have to open any of the bleeder valves. When the engine has been off for 10-15 mins, pressure in the system is nil. The oil will be hot however unless you let it cool for 3-4 hours min.
