CL HEADLIGHTS THREAD
I've been the owner of a 2004 w215 cl500 for almost three years now. I was noticing the other day that my headlights are not only dull and faded, but they have almost a cracked/shattered look to them. I know this cannot be buffed away with polish because it's in the surface of the light. My next option was to buy new lights but as we all know they get pricey... $1500 for a set?? ![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
So my question is... has anyone come across some good aftermarket lights? They could also be the cheap black ones that I see all the time. I saw a cool cheap set for a w210 CLK-class that looks like it would fit. Any thoughts??

You would be surprised what can be buffed out of those plastic light covers.
Grab a kit made for it. Ive used the Meguiars kit with great success.

Comes with the proper grit of sand paper and buffing compound as well as a wool buffer pad to be used in your electric drill for easy buffing.

I've already sanded and buffed about two years ago. Guess it couldn't hurt to try a second time... still open to some aftermarket lights at this point. They will just never look as good as new *sigh*
