Another abc issue...

I get a white abc messages every once in a while, when the message pops up the car will start pulling to the right, so much so that my steering wheel has to be pointed hard to the left to keep the car straight. Interestingly, if i shut the car off and immediately restart the steering wheel is centered and abc light is gone.

I should also note that none of the corners drop or rise when the abc message pops up yet the alignment becomes way off on its own.

Any idea what causes this?

I had a similar problem: Replaced the wheel speed sensors - problem solved.

Interesting, I'll look into the speed sensors then. I really don't understand why the steering wheel alignment would change on its own. I thought the steering system was completely mechanical. Thanks for the reply.
