What has been your experience with the W215 when it comes to reliability?
Is it true that driving it often makes it less susceptible to breakdowns or vice versa putting on less miles?
What about city driving versus highway driving it would seem I was driving would make the car more reliable less prone to different car components breaking.
I'm talking about ABC suspension, motor, electronics, etc.

I bought the car with the intention of it being a garage queen. Bad idea. You have to drive the car. The battery yes but also the ABC fluid needs to be pressurized and depressurized on occasion. I drive mine at least once a week.

solar panel
I have had a good experience with a small solar panel (cost factor $20-30, amazon sells them) plugged into the power outlet in the car to trickle charge the battery during extended park periods.
Solar panel is also a great way to offset the carbon footprint of the V12 hahaha
After two months of being parked, the CL started immediately and without hesitation. Another car did not have the solar panel connected and needed a jump start. Both had a brand new battery at the outset.
Driving the CL regularly is definitely better than having it sit in the garage or (covered) parking space.

I don't think any car likes getting their battery drained beyond a month or two. If you're gonna let it sit around, I would think disconnecting the battery and/or getting a Battery Tender would be the way to go.
Letting your car sit on the tires for too long and develop flat spots on your tires, so some people put them up on blocks or jackstands.
The Pentosin fluid is supposed to be pretty tough, and Mercedes's TSB on service says you can just refilter the old fluid through doing a couple "rodeo"s with a new filter, discarding that new filter, and then installing another new filter.

Here is a link to a solar trickle charger available at amazon. There are others of course and you can possibly even find them at the local automotive store. Note that these are not designed to recharge the battery which has already been drained (although there are reports of attempts to do so). All this does is trickle charges the battery to compensate for its naturally occuring loss.

You can also find a trickle charger which plugs into a regular outlet
