2002 CL500 ABC Drive Carefully Light On. Repair Costs?
Also, the owner called me and left a message saying he thinks he found my pump, not sure why someone said it was thrown away.... after I did the Amex chargeback.
Does anyone know how long that takes? Not even sure if I chose the right category, so many of them.
Hopefully I included enough info, not a lot of allowed characters to type the whole story, forgot to say they threw the pump away.
What are my chances of them reversing it? Do I even have a shot against a business that big?
Also, should I pay my credit card now or wait until this is over? I usually pay it off every month. Never chargeback anything before so not sure what happens if I pay it off and they reverse it.
The shop likely doesn't know about the chargeback yet so try to get your old pump back ASAP before they are contacted
Do not pay the disputed amount , amex will issue a temporary credit for it anyway while they investigate
Amex may ask you for a second opinion from another mechanic
;( I cant afford this anymore.
Just going to trade it.
Unless anyone here in Michigan knows what their doing their self and would want to buy it.

Here's an option. Buy a used airmaticW220, not an Active Body Control one, (S-Class) power steering pump and a Strutmasters conversion and drive the car worry free.
anyone have experience with these rebuilt cardone pumps?
