2001 CL600 Blower Motor Not Working
Hello, the blower motor always made a high pitch sound running at low speeds, increasing the speed over 2 bars use to cut the noise, and very seldom the motor stopped working although turning it off and on again used to fix that issue. Lately, when I put it on high speed it stopped working and again turning it off and on again fixed it but is not a fix anymore, the blower motor has stopped working completely. I did check the fuses (f33) but that seems not to be the issue. I would like to change the blower motor and check to see if the resistor is blown as well. Would anyone know where they are located, I tried to take the cover below the glove compartment out but removing the screws did not even loosen it, maybe there is trick to it. Since I'm not sure, I don't want to take things apart unnecessarily. Your help is appreciated very much since without the motor running, inside the car will be very cold here in NY. Thanks for all your help...
