KEYLESS GO SHIFTER KNOB

REMOVED MY SHIFTIER KNOB TO PAINT IT, INSTALLED ANOTHER ONE TEMPORALLY, NOW WENT TO REINSTALL MY ORIGINAL WON'T START VEHICLE, DO I NEED TO PROGRAM IT. THANKS

BY PINS DO YOU MEAN THE BLACK 4 PIECES INSIDE WERE THE CHROME HOUSING TURNS?

Nope, the two that act as an electrical connection between the push button and the shaft. If you look at the top of the shaft, you will see two holes where they go when the knob is placed back on. Given the small target, it'd be easy to break them during reinstallation if it wasn't lined up perfectly.
