I looked under my car to see two cats at the front on each side. Then each pipe goes into a central "box" and then two pipes exit this box to the rear silencers. Is this a resonator?
Here is the resonator. two of them before the 2 mufflers
open them, cut the little pipe and weld the hole closed
close the resonator by welding
(the resonator is empty, no glass-wool)
to get a even better amg like sound,
open the two mufflers, remove the glass-wool
close the muffler by welding
On my 600 I have huge cat on each down pipe . 2 single pipes then to centre of car . A box on each pipe then x pipe and rear box. . Pipe is made oval . Whole thing looks very strange. Never seen a set up like this before.
