2004 CL500
no crank
2004 CL500 electronic key does not open doors and will not start up car intermittly

2003 CL55 AMG Komp.
Same here. I changed batteries ad it worked intermittently also. I just got the car so i dont know how to work it very well but I am certain something is wrong.

most likely both of you have a weak main car battery in the trunk , if you don't drive it every few days the battery drains to the point it won't crank

other possibility is a corroded main fuse under passenger floor carpet
