Why does my car blink at me?
New CL55 AMG owner here. I've been through the manual and can't find anything about this:
When I unlock the car, the blinkers blink once. When I lock it, they blink 3 times. So far so good.
However, every time I lock it, after the expected 3 blinker flashes, the fog lights and rear brake lights start blinking, and never stop until I unlock/relock the car again.
Any idea what that means? I get the impression that the car is trying to tell me something...

This means that your alarm siren component is no longer working. To confirm you can either use a fault code reader or just hold down the panic button on the key fob, you'll notice that the "alarm noise" is not present.
They have a small battery inside and have an expected life of 10 years. Easy to replace DIY, it's in the wheelhouse behind the left front wheel.

Because she love you lol I had the same problem do you have check lamp in dash if you have that most likely defective light replace any defective light side marker tail light and make sure you don’t have any check lamp on dash these light sharing same voltage if one defective start to blinking also don’t use led lights only use same number as the original one have good luck
