I just returned from one of the largest MB dealer groups in Germany after picking up my new CLK Designo, and was asked if I wanted a slot for either a S55 or CL55 facelift version in October.
Both the S55 and CL55 will loose their current engine and the kompressed 5.5 engine will be the replacement amongst other goodies.

Interesting. Is this about the same time that the twin-turbo will be introduced in the S/CL also? There were some rumors going on about that. Anyway, thats great news. 5 years ago, who would have thought, a 500 S-class! MB is really moving ahead with their AMG models.
