CL 500 on LPG and fuel gauge stops working
After transforming the car to LPG (I strongly recommend it in gasoline expensive countries like mine) the fuel gauge works every now and then, but most of the time it is completely dead.
I have the feeling that maybe it works through a soplisticaded consumption integration algorithm or something like that and, not being able to check the gasoline consumption rate, as there is none, it just quits.
I am thining that "maybe" there is a way to change to a simple method of measuring the fuel dip stick position by using the magic of the MB "machine".
Does anybody know anything about this?
P.S The "range" indicator doesn´t work either (it stays ---) but, funny enough, the instantaneous consumption indicator not only works, but it seems to show the LPG consumtion pretty accurately.
