How to remove headlight switch

How do you remove the headlight switch (with the knob and headlight washer button) from the dash? Can I pop it out from the front using a plastic wedge? Thanks.

I figured it out and here's the process in case it's helpful to anyone in the future. The front trim covering (escutcheon) pulls out from the front. I tried to use a plastic wedge but didn't have one small enough to fit, so I used a small flathead screwdriver and pried from the bottom edge. To avoid marring the leather dash I put down some painters tape. It pulled off fairly easily one it was loosened. The headlamp switch is then secured with 2 screws into the dash. All pretty simple.

I didn't actually need to remove the entire switch since I was just changing the cover piece that had become sticky over time, as many others have experienced. However, instead of cleaning off the stickiness (which really entails removing the rubber coating) I decided to simply replace the cover since it was only a $31 part (215-689-05-80-7241).

Hand sanitizer can work on this, and the steering wheel buttons in a pinch. Mine look new 4+ years later

thanks for following up, too many people leave their threads unresolved and that ruins the point of forums. I may wrap this part in carbon fiber tape now that I know how easy it is to remove
