2003 CL 600
Looking at a 2003 CL600 Biturbo with 63000 km on it. What should I watch out for?
Thanks in advance.

I would never ever buy a mercedes anymore without this:
1) Find a person around the area with Xentry/Das
2) Do not tell the seller
3) Ask the seller if car has any problems
4) Do a test drive and at one point REV up hard to 5-6000 (this will stress the ignition)
5) go to the Xentry tester
with this you will know if your ignition is good (even broken ignitions can not show any problem under 3000 rpm)
and you'll know if the seller is honest
and of course as other users said, check suspensions etc
buying a V12 without these tests is like playing Russian roulette
good luck !

Pretty sure the dealer would tell me it's fine.
The strange thing is that it was sold 13 times!
That could mean a few things. It's too much car for the average Mercedes pilot.
The fuel milage is abysmal.
It's been driven hard.
Thanks everybody for helping out.

Bought the car, and there are a few little problems, but holy hell does this thing go. I haven't even floored it fully yet, but I could feel my face being pulled back when I did step on it.
This thing is really freaking fast.
Now I need a bigger garage.

As can be expected nothing is ever perfect. So far the list goes like this:
Neither seat has working lumbar buttons,
Trunk opens slightly crooked, then closes and the pump keeps running for about 20 secones. Then the lid lifts up over time on the front right side.
Left door tweeter not working.
Driver's side door sticks out a bit and needs to be adjusted.
Right soft close does not work, just hissing.
SOS is on on the dash.
No DVD Navigation disc. But there was a copy of Adelle 21 which I promptly shredded.
The ABC seems to work well, it goes up and down and in between.
Steering is a little vague, but that's why I have a CLK as well.
Closes properly then lifts up over time.

Funny thing is that the door with the working soft close is the drivers door. It just doesn't pull it in enough. The passenger side closes nice and flush, but the soft close just hisses.
How bloody difficult is it to find the proper navigation disc? I can't find a listing anywhere. Does this year just take one DVD for North Amarica? Or is it CD format that has 10 or more discs. It has the Bose audio if that makes any difference.

If you find a used navigation disc for Canada, it will be several years old, and not have any of the later subdivisions or newer roads on it.

I have to correct my previous comment:
There must have been a 2010 update. A new disc for Canada is listed on eBay for US$119.00 Seller: gpsmapstore

Cool, thanks, I've been looking for days.
It's 2007 but I'm ok with that.$64 us. Not too bad.
I just want to see something besides the radio screen.
