window haze?

window haze?
like the guy mentions in this video, i have a severe layer of "film" covering my rear window. i have spent over 30 minutes trying to scrub the rear window clean of this layer of haze
even after 30 minutes, the glass is only beginning to be clear again. i've tried clorox wipes and regular ammonia based glass cleaner. i don't like using many products for the event they spill onto the leather seats and damage the leather
i'm thinking my problem is made worse by the high temperatures here where i live. i believe the layer of grime has "baked" itself onto the window
just wondering if anybody has found a better solution to clean this window without scratching the window

Not sure where you are but it comes from all the plastics and adhesives used to build the car. I use Spraway Window cleaner from Home Depot. Takes it right off. The longer you have the car the less there is but it'll be there for years.
