Question about Purchase Experiences
I am getting ready to purchase a new or used CL 500 and have been studying the market before I speak with sellers. I have been watching ebay and newspapers to determine what the market has been for this car. In the last three months I have seen only two CL's sold on ebay with over 100 auctions which resulted in no sale to my knowledge. Many of them repeats.
The two that did sell were a 2000 for 70.6K and a 55 01 for 98K, both with low mileage.
I sense that the luxury car market has slowed considerably or high end cars just do not sell on ebay very well.
I would like your feedback on what you own and what you paid for your sled. Also, do you think the market has turned to the buyer for high end cars?
I have looked for and have not been able to find information on the net regarding how many of each model car is changing hands in the country, do any of you know where we might get this information?
