Need Body Shop Recommendations for trunk Lid

Hello
The CL500 I inherited came with some damage to the trunk lid( see pictures). I know this trunk lid is not metal but fiberglass composites. I am in the Southern California area does anyone have recommendations for a body shop that works with these cars? Would it be better to find a parted trunk lid?

Looks like the repair was already attempted but I'd did not work as planned. A good body shop should be able to tell you what you need. Just buy the used replacement part, if needed, yourself to avoid their markup.

No repair was attempted. My Aunt brought the car new in 2006 and she did the damage. I am just the second owner. Yes a good body shop should be able to fix it I was just wondering if there was one who specializes in fiberglass repair.

only your stoplight will cost the price of a used complete lid from ebay
that lid is not to be repaired, its junk
if you persist with this weird idea repairing it, it repairs the same as a boat

Ok so forget the idea of having a body shop repairs as it is fiberglass. Just curious though when these cars are repaired under insurance claims after an accident do they go out and get trunk lids from Ebay?

new laws in Europe force the bodyshops to first propose a alternative cheaper repair based on used parts
some insurance contracts will only pay for these solutions
