How to Repair Blower Fuse Terminal
Hello,
I seem to have a 2004 CL500 burn blower motor fuse terminal. My fuse was not melted but one end of the fuse looked burnt - thus I was told I am getting volts but no amperage and after replacing several blower regulators pulled the fuse to look at the terminal.I was given these instructions which are not clear as least not to me - like what tool I need to replace the terminal. these are the instructions:
"a wire has a terminal crimped on the end, that terminal has an opening the fuse slides into, the fuse box:does not get disassembled, the terminal slides out with the wire of the fuse box. then you cut the old one, crimp on the new, and slide it back in. you need special tools to release this terminal from the block."
How should I approach this repair. I forgot to replace the fuse box cover which may have caused the burnt terminal Below are pics of the fuse with one end burnt.

PICS OF FUSE OR ELECTRICAL ARC/SHORT
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I am referring to the the socket for the blower motor fuse which is in the passenger side fuse box under the hood. I spoke with a mercedes tech who gave me these instructions or terms. Attached is a picture of the fuse box and burnt 40 amp fuse receptacle meaning whatever you call the where the fuse makes contact.
THE BURNT OR SHORTED FUSE IS THE BOTTOM LEFT ONE WHICH I HAD TO PRY OUT

Thanks !!!
Question, I found one under the original part number. Are you recommending the replaced by because there was some defect in the original

that is up to you, replaced version is sometimes replaced because of a revision
always prefer latest version
ps, you don't need the Module, just the fuse socket as in link one
