PSE Programming after replacement?
Hello,
I have been working on my trunk not opening or closing using either the remote, trunk switch or interior switch. I have browsed the whole internet and checked all the fuses, wires, pneumatic lines etc....I have even got another PSE pump that I replaced, the result is the same: The trunk won't open. All the other functions related to the PSE work (soft close, lock/unlock, etc...). I have the W215 Mercedes mechanic manual and it says that after replacing the PSE pump, version coding must be done via STAR Diagnosis. (see attached).
I would have to go to the dealer for that but was wondering if any of you can confirm this would be the fix for the trunk to work?

After all that, did you actually look at the trunk latching/locking mechanism?
Lots of opportunity for leaks there and is a common issue.
