04 CL500 - no keys, so had to get new key made by having EIS pulled. Re-installled EIS and new key works in ignition, and the lock/unlock buttons on center dash work fine. But the new key remote does not lock/unlock, battery good, little red light on key remote works. Hooking up Xentry gives these errors B1016, P1925. Have cycled key in ignition multiple times, and left in for a while. Also held up against door handle for IR, anything else to try. Just would be handy to be able to lock the car
this could mean the selector can is faulty, the selector is faulty or the selector is not the selector that was originally in this car, so not in the security check ring ( engine ecu - shifter - engine ecu)
if you can not connect to the shifter in Xentry, then its your Can line, power supply to or faulty shifter
