Vacuum Leak - Multiple Misfires

Hello

Diy videos leave out alot lol.... I changed valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires due to check engine light and diminishing perforance...slow acceleration...found two plugs oil fouled. After changing valve cover gaskets the corner of valve cover gasket on lower drivers side dislodged (i didn't remove gas line ... probably knocked it lose). On test drive had major oil leak ...4 quarts..[i drove too far] Test drive was ok [meaning car idled] except for oil leak and smoke but after cleaning underneath with electric part cleaner and degreaser and redoing gasket car would not idle and no BAS ...meaning hard braking. I thought the multiple cans of electric part cleaner and de-greaser fouled a sensor causing BAS issue. Oh yeah I used Denso wires at first which have shorter metal boot so hard to remove without breaking wire ... replaced with bosch... btw you can bend the spark plug wire end that goes into the coil if your not careful anyway after redoing most of my work [didn't replace 3 breather hoses they seem ok clamped one] i changed the MAS and found that the BAS brake boost vacuum line behind or below the MAS with a white plastic tip, was not connected and I plugged it into the hole into the manifold. Car ildes now runs kinda ok but I still have check engine light and misfire codes on multiple cylinders which could be vacuum leak... it feels like one cylinder is missing... codes for misfires are for cylinder 3, 5, 6 mabe another.

My question is, whether that BAS line is secure eg not leaking or creating vacuum leak... it did not seem secure like a normal vacuum line.. Also before finding it loose I sprayed engine starter fluid around breather hoses to valve covers and they all seemed to cause increased idle... so I don't know if that means there're not snug or starter fluid will do that with anything.

My research says check vacuum lines then clean injectors for multiple misfires.. but I don't feel good about fitment of the BAS line into manifold.

I could not find any diagrams or pictures of the BAS vacuum line at that point of connecting into manifold on w215. Also,, i have no idea how that came out of the manfold

Thanks

Walt
