Father's looking to mod his CL600 in an unorthodox way. Advice?
"I've got the sport wheels on the CL600 and it looks great but I'm not totally happy with the ride at highway speeds..as in 70+...I put the same Bridgestone Potenza tires S 03s on the CL and that was better than the Pilot Sports but not enough. I figure I need different shocks. I talked to a tech guy at Bilstein and he said to go to chat rooms and the tuner community. Trouble is I don't think too many CL 600 buyers are tuning their cars...any thoughts?"
He says there's too much road feedback with his current setup. Anyone have any ideas about how to make his ride *softer* (something I never thought I'd ask)?
I'm going to tell him to try another tire b/c of the steel lined sidewalls in S03s. I'd like to give him more advice than that, though, so anything would be appreciated.
Thanks

As for changing anything in the suspension, good luck. The CL uses a highly sophisticated ABC hydraulic suspension. I don't think there are any aftermarket combinations that would work.
