03 CL500 RUNS/STOPE/RUNS AGAIN!
Hi All,
New to the forum but not new to MBZ.
Here's what's happening on the 03CL. It will start and run for 5-7 minutes perfectly. Nice and smooth. Then it just stalls. When trying to restart is just turns over with no fireing. It seems to have lost spark.
After about 30 or so minutes it fires right back up then runs for the same amount of time then stalls again. I'just last night replaced the fuel pump and filter. Fuel delivery is not an issue. Also has new battery.
Very frustrating. Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks

CL 600 '00 5.8L V12
Check the coil packs. Make sure to monitor the output voltages of the voltage transformer.
Please be aware that there is 180V DC output, so be cautious
Top left: 180v
Top right: 180v
Bottom right: 23V
Somewhere in between: two 12V inputs
EDIT: Sorry, I thought this was the CL600 with the V12, but I see that this is the CL500 with the V8.
The above does not apply to your car
