Front valve block, changing O rings
Car sits for a fortnight, get red ABC warning. Car starts and red warning disappears. No leaks, fluid level is spot on.
if I get Indy to change seals in valve block what are chances of hoses coming free without damage as I understand that engine has to come out to change the hoses.
do I have to buy hoses from MB if available? Would any hose specialist for farmers etc be Ok. Can see a JCB running hydraulics at same pressures as ABC system.
advice would be welcome

The valve block has nothing to do with the main pump hose. Just change out the o-rings in the valve block and make sure to clean it thoroughly. It should be spotless when you put it back together. Part numbers for the o-rings are available on these forums.
Most probably you'll not need to remove the engine, but you'll need to raise the engine a bit since the hose basically hugs the engine. It is a very difficult and time consuming hose to replace, but it is worth it!
