What kind of monster do you have that requires a 900Nm limit on the transmission

I have W210 320CDI and I’m planning to do project, and diesels have lot of torque, so it would be some 1000Nm, and this 722.649 can hold 1200Nm, that’s why I need to upgrade from mine stock 722.626 which can hold 850Nm (I don’t want to have bottleneck) 😁

According to this website, the tranny you are searching can only hold 900Nm. Now I don't know if they actually break at 900Nm, I don't think so, but 1200Nm is definitely too much torque for the transmission to handle. The difference is about what a normal vehicle's torque spec is

Yeah, I know, mine 722.626 is rated 580, but can hold up 850, after that it slips, same with 722.649, they can hold up far more, and there are factory manufactured AMG with 1000Nm, completely same transmission, and I don’t plan on having 1200Nm, just want to have some space for it to not be bottleneck in project setup 😃
