01 C215 pedal position sensor missing a wire

Hi! I have been stuck on this for a while so I’m hoping someone here will have the answers. CL600 starting having problems starting and runs horrible and stalls after a few seconds when it does start. P0120 code is coming up on the scanner. Checked wiring connections and the pedal position sensor connector is missing a wire ( photo below). I believe this is supposed to be a ground wire. Can anyone please confirm what color the wire is supposed to be so I can look for it at the ECU? Also would anyone know if the harness that connects to the pedal position sensor can be purchased anywhere? I assume it’s supposed to connect to the ECU but I’m not sure. Thank you!!

I believe there should be a wire in terminal 2?

My CL600 with the M137 engine is from 2001.
Five wires also come out of my plug.
In my opinion, this error is also sometimes related to the throttle itself, maybe you should look for a problem there.

M137, thank you! You shared key information. So the five wires is normal (your wire harness is the same as mine). I will do as you suggest and look at the throttle body. I have three throttle bodies and swapping them out hasn’t fixed the problem , so I’ll replace the MAF sensor and see if that does anything. I believe it’s going to end up being the ECM that needs to be replaced unfortunately because connecting the scanner has been intermittent with occasional failures communicating with the ECM. Thank you for your help!! Would you know of a reputable shop to send the ECM for repair?

I'd recommend getting you car scanned with DAS/Xentry, it might give some more insights in what is happening
