Seeking advice from a guru regarding W215 CL600 TT fuel pump issues

Hello to one and all.
Has anybody got information as to why the electric fuel pump gets very very hot on a W215 CL600 TT

Here is the scenario
The car 2004 model stopping running or would stall for no apparent reason.
Purchased the following items
A new fuel pump and fuel filter

not fixed !

Purchased a new fuel transponder control unit ( apparently controls fuel pressure via pump speed via voltage variation and I mean apparently) located right next to the fuel pump

not fixed

Purchased a new fuel pressure sensor located in the fuel line straight out of the filter.
Almost fixed
car starts and runs well, how ever the pump gets hot and i mean too hot to touch.
As soon as you unplug the fuel pressure sensor! boom the pump speeds up and cools down very quickly.
Being a pedantic person I do want to get this matter sorted out.
What am I missing?

Have any of you great ppl come across this matter?

Please measure it with a standalone fuel pressure gauge and compare it with the internal reading
