2005 CL600
2005 CL600 WILL NOT CRANK/START?
I drove it fine. Parked it and now it will not start. I get in, foot on brake, push button on shifter, everything powers up and works but does not start cranking. Even put key fob in and went to crank and same, all powers up but no cranking. Message center says ESP malfunction go to workshop. I unhooked battery for 30 minutes for possible reset and all is same, no change. Terminals are tight, battery is powerful and never had any problems before.

Check with SDS, it's the only way to proceed from here.
There is one thing you can actually check, the voltage of the output of the starter relay when turning the key.
It should be underneath the passenger foot well. Be careful as positive and negative wires come together there.
