Coilover conversion

I think the time has come ,I will be doing a coilover conversion been looking reading etc ,there are 2 types the Yellow speed and the Ceika, the Ceika having the most setting etc what are the members recommendations I am more interested in the comfort side than speed side if that makes sense.

Not sure if this was brought up before but since the struts are hydraulic chambers to keep the vehicle in the raised position, In theory if you where to pump pressure into it to get it to the correct ride height had installed a valve you should be able to keep the pressure in the strut. That will keep the ride height as long as there are no leaks in the strut itself. Of course this will be deleting the rest of the ABC system. Thoughts?

That will not work as the fluid inside of the strut is actively controlled to allow dampening and softening of the ride. If you lock the fluid inside of the strut, there is the potential that the strut will blow if you run over a large pothole
