hood vent/cowl drainage

Is it normal that water just piles up on the driver side of the cowl, or is it supposed to seep out through the little door at the end and drain by the brake booster / SAM enclosure? Weird design.

I grabbed this photo from eBay for reference.

I haven't checked on mine, but I think it should drip out of both ends.

You need to make sure that the lower drain holes are clean too, otherwise your interior will be flooded once it rains heavily
