Yes it is, but we need more info.
C1000 is refered as a brake pedal switch. Is this the correct code?
Also, did you scan the car using SDS?
Do the brake lights turn on when you press the brake pedal?

Thanks for responding. According to my Foxwell 510 Elite as of 12 days ago, C1000 refers to "defective ESP module" which is not a good DTC to get. Anyway
after clearing all codes two days ago when I received the C1000, as of this morning a scan shows no codes at all. Whew!! My Icarsoft MB II also shows a clear
scan. Yet....I still get a white ABC error of 'visit shop' often. My remedy is to replace the front Accumulator (buymercedespartsnow.com for $193) and see what happens. Even with the error showing on the dash neither scanner shows them since it (white) is just advisory. By the way, there are clear advantages of Foxwell 510 Elite over the MBII. The rodeo that the Foxwell gives is automatically worth the additional cost of the unit since it lasts about 15 minutes and the components are actually warm from
being worked hard. Secondly, it was easy to reset the ride height to close to '16mm all around'
