Where to these wire go?

A mechanic, when removing the EIS for testing also unplugged some other wires in the driver's footwell (RHD) and didn't plug them back in.
The red SRS warning light covers the full dash clocks and he said it just needs clearing by a scanner.I plugged in my iCarsoft and selected SRS, it said there was no connection.
I knew he had disconnected the wires so I removed the panels that he put back on just to make sure the wires were still not hanging loose, and of course they are.
I have had a look, the space is tight, but I cannot see where these two wires plug into.

They are not long wires, so they must be plugged into somewhere nearby, I just can't see it.
I do not know if they plug into something that was removed from the car.
Can anyone help?

The mechanic has now gone on holiday, he had my car for 7 months trying to repair the EIS (it fixed itself), My car was hit by a delivery driver when parked on his carpark, and when I went down last Friday to try and catch him before he closed for the weekend, I found he had already closed and my car was left unlocked.

I had a chance to have a better look at the wires today.
It looks like the single connector plugs into one of the three available slots on the large connector, which one of the three is a mystery.

In each of the three empty slots, there are two pins and a notch. Each one looks as if it's a perfect fit for the loose connector but when I tried to slot it in place, I was met with some resistance as if the pins did not properly line up with the holes even though they looked as if they would.
It may be the case that I need to push harder, I was hesitant to do this in case I bent or snapped a pin.

I have another CL500 that I have at my storage yard as one of the ABC hydraulic lines broke yesterday, I will remove the driver's footwell panels tomorrow for comparison.
When I inspected the larger connector today, it looked as if it doesn't connect to another connector or plug as the back of the connector has clips that look as if they attach to a piece of trim to keep them out of the way.

Those are low-voltage CAN-bus wires. They go to the various modules so that they can communicate with each other.
