Cl500 upper control panel inactive

Hi all, hopefully someone can help.

I recently bought a 2001 cl500 that had the serpentine belt let go, a new belt was fitted and all the warnings cleared but the upper control panel buttons are now all non responsive, the row above the command unit inc hazzard lights.

Some research led me to fuse F26 in No1 engine bay fuse box which powers control module N72 which takes charge of the upper control panel (which is not working)

I found the fuse had blown, yippee easy fix I thought... BUT replacement fuses blow all the time so I'm guessing the N72 module is at fault?

Has anyone any experience or thoughts on this?

Have you taken a look at the upper control panel PCB?

It could be water due to clogged sunroof drains

the upper control panel is the name given to the row of switches top of the centre console which includes hazzard lights, abc height, abc, esp, etc etc etc.
this switch pack won't get damaged by blocked sun roof drains.

Ah ok, I thought you meant the roof control panel.
I'd check why the fuse blows, are some wires shorted behind the dashboard?
