Keys isn't working CL600

After the car battery was discharged, the car keys stopped working neither the main key nor the spare one. The car does not respond to key buttons presses, and after manually unlocking the car, the key is also not detected in the ignition, making it impossible to turn on. I checked the fuses, and they are all functional. I also found an old forum thread describing a similar problem, which was caused by a faulty alarm located in the left front wheel area. All the car's electrical systems work except for the windows and ignition, and when locking the car using the interior button, the hazard lights turn on.

The car is parked in an underground garage, and I need to know how to start it and drive it out.

It's 2005 CL600 Designo 5.5L 500hp engine

Probably something on the immobilizer circuit, consisting of the key module, transmission shifter (iirc), and ECU. Find somebody with DAS/XENTRY that can look at it, because it's not gonna budge if those modules aren't all happy.
Last ditch effort- try unplugging the battery for several hours and putting a new or fully charged batt back in.

You get funny issues with keys not working if the battery is low. Mine isn't been used much at the moment so I'm seeing these issues if I try to start it when there isn't enough power coming from the battery. Once I've charged the battery and run the car around the block the keys work like normal.

Tried it already. Battery was fully charged, we tried to use second key and still nothing.

Yeah, you'll want to get someone good at star/xentry to see what the car is doing when you put thekey in. Had a friend's CL55 refuse to start because one of the immobilizer circuit units broke when the battery died. Rare but it happens.

I know this original post was a while ago - Did you manage to get to a solution? I had a similar issue with my car after the battery had died. I managed to get it started the first time, but the second time the key would not turn in the ignition and I couldn't even move my car out of park and therefore I couldn't even push it to a safe/non blocking place. Quite stressful!!

It turned out that the fuse to the ignition had blown, and once that was replaced, it worked perfectly (fuse was in the inside panel on the left hand side of the dashboard).

Hopefully this helps someone who looks at this post in the future.
