Looking for a competent honest shop in Houston
I am looking for an honest competent Mercedes repair shop in Houston, TX.
I have a 2004 CL500 and the electronics that control all the windows, and seats work sporadically. Yesterday the windshield wipers started working by themselves and would not stop. The seat heating/cooling switch lit up, all the lights. The dome light went on by itself and didn't turn off for a while. It was daytime. Then on the way home the display inside the speedometer malfunction and no information was displayed. The whole time I was driving home the brake warning light was on but the brakes worked the way they should. It's like the car is possessed.
I have dealt with a few shops in the Houston area over the last 24 years and I had one good experience until the owner retired. Now I need to find someone new and I could use your help.

Windows and seats is either the connectors on the door swich module (the one with the seat adjustment) being dirty, or the actual door wires breaking. Known to happen in these cars, both are relatively easy fixes. I've had to clean the connectors on that module on both my w215's for the issue you stated. windshield wiper is either wiper motor circuit or stalk connection. I'd guess motor circuit board.
Dome light no idea, maybe the circuit board above the lights. had to replace mine because the sunroof would not open. Maybe one of the door close sensor switches is dying. Probably not if your small window isn't going down randomly.
brake warning light is probably a brake wear sensor connection issue or ABS/wheel speed sensor.
Speedometer blacking out happens to these with age, also happens on 00-06 tahoes. Some capacitors on the board die with age. You can take it out and pay a guy on ebay to replace the capacitors for like $250.
