Hello guys! Im new on here and just got my first car. I have a cl500 from 2001 and after driving it for 6 months I would like to have a more aggressive sound to it. So it has the m113 engine and the whole car is completely stock from factory. I bought an Xpipe because I heard it will bring out more of a burble and amg sound to it. But when me and my friend got under the car to start cut the pipe. Because my plan is to take of the resonators and replace it with the Xpipe. We couldn’t see any v Clamp or any similar. So my question is. How do i do this the best or correct way? Do i have to take the exhuast system off completely from the exhuast manifold or just cut it from where i the Xpipe shall stay? Because it’s to tight to weld it on when the pipe is still there. Thanks in advance!!
