Lowering module

How does it work? How much does it cost?

I 've heard that it can lower and raise the car with a touch of a button is this true?

Awiner- quick question, since you are well informed regarding lowering modules. In many cases when a vechicle is lowered, one side (usually drivers) sits a bit lower. With coilovers this is easily remedied with minor perch height adjustments. Is there any provision within the lowering module adjustments to address this issue? It is on of those minor things that drives me CRAZY, it took me about 1-1.5months of weekly adjustments to get my car to sit "even"

The Kleemann and Brabus are adjustable per axle, not per wheel.

I have not noticed any ABC suspension cars sitting higher or lower between sides however.

There used to be a post a while ago in E55 page talking about lowering a self leveling MB. By reposition the sensor rod (trick the sensor with lower standard ride height) with just a longer screw and couple washer, you can lower the ride by D.I.Y. Way cheaper than installing anything from tuner.
The good thing about this other than $$ is, I am living in Canada and we do have heavy snow in Winter and by doing it this way. I still can raise up my ride with 2 setting half or full raise by a touch of the standard dashboard button, I love it. and it looks good.

the Carlsson solution....

I have used the Carlsson electronic suspension lowering module in both my CL55 and SL55. It is very simple to install and is adjustable. It works great with the airmatic suspension for those times you want a little extra clearance and is adjustable axle to axle. It has been in these cars for almost a year without any problems.
