Cl 600 Wheel Packages (c216)
Hey guys I'm new to the forum but I been reading the threads for a while. I want to share my latest experience with my CL.
Last week after a long wait I finally got my CL 600 Black on black.
As soon as I ordered my car a few months ago I started shopping for a quality wheel package. So I decided to stay within the main tuners such as Carlsson, Lorinser and Brabus.
Lorinser wheels are a little outdated to my taste so I narrowed down to Carlsson and Brabus.
The options were 20" or 21". I decided to stick to the 21"
Brabus has a forged wheel, the Monoblock VI and Carlsson has the 3-piece also forged 3/11. I started getting more details on these two wheels and found out that the Brabus VI "FORGED" is not really a forged wheel, weighting 25 Kg versus a TRUE 3 piece FORGED wheel from Carlsson weighting 18.7 Kg.
Why would a brand like Brabus do false advertisement to sell their products??
Also they offer me the Monoblock S in a 20" 2-piece look alike wheel....fake bolts such as a $150 chinese wheel.
Is this the way that "tuners" are turning into???
Every day is harded and harded to find good quality wheels and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
Anyways here are some pictures of my CL with the 21" Carlsson 3/11 Pirelli tires 255/30/21 and 285/30/21. Hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know what you think.

Thats the best looking wheel on the CL i seen so far. Carlsson makes really strong, durable and light weight rims ( 1/16, 3/11) but pricey. I am glad you chose Carlsson. Makes the car look so elegant.
