Hey guys, can you help me out?
Hey guys and girls, I was wondering if anybody has heard of an ECU/TCU upgrade available yet for the 2007 CL 550? Also, what about illuminated doorsills and trunk nets? I've been told these are not available yet, but I want especially an ECU/TCU upgrade. Thanks for any info .....

ECU upgrade for the CL 550 is ready. Not too sure about any TCU programming available.
Brabus and Carlsson might be the first two tuners to have doorsills available now or soon.
I will inquire for you tomorrow.

Thanks bro!! Yeah I really would like to get it done, and the illuminated doorsills also. Even such a simple thing like trunk nets are not even available yet!! I'm hearing that the reason for the ECU/TCU delay is that the CL 550's engine computer is slightly different than the one in the other 550 models. But I'm hearing that combined with a Carlsson header package I can get up to 90 more horsepower, which would be great!!
I'm going to pick up my CL 550 today from the dealer, they just installed the K40 complete integrated system with the radar jamming/laser diffusing stuff, and the PermaFinish permanent paint protection system and 3M clear bra and IPod integration kit. We'll see what happens ... Thanks for all the info again

Still waiting for a reply from the top tuners. Hopefully they get back to me today on the doorsills. I am suspecting that the Carlsson headers are actually Supersprint headers. I have to find out if its the shorty or the long tubes. If the front cats are deleted, 90 hp is very possible with the combination of the ECU upgrade. I'll give you further news if i have anything out.

Sounds Good! How much power u think that S/C will Add to the 550 engine?
How much power do you think the upcoming Kleemann supercharger will add to the 550's engine? Maybe even a rough estimate atleast?

I dont have any clue at this point. The tuners is probably gauging the market on the 550/63 engines. Most likely it wont be completed anytime soon.
By the way, i got the prices for the Brabus doorsills. Its $1295 retail. Pm me for EE's price.

As long as it says "Mercedes-Benz" on the illuminated doorsills
Since my car is not a Brabus car and has no Brabus parts on it, I only want doorsills that say "Mercedes-Benz" on it. So far can't find them :-(
