New CL550 Build
Just heard from my dealer today that my CL550 will be built this week
I have been promised a VIN# ASAP. Looking forward to a beautiful "break-in" 1000 mile trip from Denver to S. California, the first week in June! This waiting business is--well it sucks. I was fine until I got the word from the dealer. All my probs should be this terrible, right?
It will have Black exterior with Savanna/Cashmere interior, Premium Pkg. II, Distronic Plus, Park Assist, AMG Sport-Package, iPod Integration Kit, and Heated Steering Wheel. This last option is sooo needed in S.Cal
I will keep you all posted.

Long story short I adored the S class but fell in love with the CL after test driving both (S did have ABC and was set to sport tuning during test drive). The S and the CL have great qualities and handling unique to each, but for me the CL had tighter handling and better (albeit a little bit better) fit and finish.
