Had a fun day at Island Dragway yesterday! Just wondered what times that the car could run stock. I hope to Dyno the car on Wednesday and if all goes well I should have numbers by the evening. If so, I will post them as well.

PS. Can anyone tell me how to put the 08 CL600 into dyno mode?

Thanks!

Great data, although the running conditions were extremely cohesive Island Dragway Great Meadow NJ on Nov 2, 2008 @ aprox time 4:03pm DA was Negative-987 feet
48.9 F
33%
30.52 in
257ft Above Sea Level
Corrected @ Sea Level

was basically the same Uncorrected ET 12.10 @ 116.8 mph Corrected ET 12.13 @ 116.56 mph

Now the fun stuff drop that 60ft down to 1.70 & you'd be around 11.8x

Also your 1/8 mile trap is healthy for stock @ 91.11 mph....

Please try some 100-104 octane GAS & re-run seems like you already know how to launch but the extra octane really helps Turbo's (drive the car @ least 35-40 miles w/high octane before run), I'm betting under similar conditions w/addition of race fuel you could hit 11.80-11.90 @ 118 mph

Take that CL600 out to Atco ONLY 33 ft above sea level...

Another NOTE: the new 2008 is increased in overall length & has many new features over the outgoing CL600 215 which weigh about 4600-4700lbs
your new 2008 CL600 216 Curb Weight 4,895 lbs. unbleviable that tank is moving!

Hey Craig-- great times for a new car, with probably very little miles on it.

Your car is the carbon copy of mine!

Renntech has my computers now and my car should be on the road this weekend. I was told to expect mid 11"s when I get the car back. Looking at your times, they are probably accurate.

Great job--- Good Luck!

I am really really impressed with that run!! Amazing for such a big car can motor down the track...and nice footwork on the 1.8 60' with street tires!

Incredible time! Almost quick enough to make me throw in the towel on my 63! The Mustang owners must have been having cows watching your 5000lbs fly by!

Congrats. That is impressive

Dyno mode:
turn key to position 1.
menu in instrument cluster must be displaying the odometer.
press the phone pickup button and the ok button on the steering
wheel and hold for about 8-10 seconds. menu will come up on the cluster display scroll down to dynomometer setting press ok and confirm.
Just so you know that dyno mode disables all traction systems including ABS.

Just one more fact that hasn't been mentioned. When this run was made, Craig, the driver told me he had the ESP on. The car actually bogged!

I believe, that with it off and feathering the gas pedal, he could have easily gone into the 11's!!
