Does anybody know if CL 550 can be ordered without the 4matic for 2010. With the 4 matic, there is no option for ABC. For those of you who drive CL550 4matic and have also driven other Benz with ABC, can you tell the difference in driving characteristics?

With or without ABC, 550 has no tq or brakes and an awful plastic (AKA non-65/600-caliber leather) interior

Go big w/a 65 or 600...or get a C300 and save up

Having owned latest-gen CL550/600/63 030/65, would argue worst value was 550; best value is 65 (am getting '10 CL65 in Aug)

Not true. It's 550 4MATIC without ABC or 550 with 2WD and ABC as standard. AFAIK the 550 is only available as 4MATIC in the US currently, don't know why though.

Personally I do love the 550, it's all you'll ever need and very economic in comparison to 600 and AMGs.

I opted for the 550 over the 600 because of the 4matic. Here in the NE the all wheel drive comes in very handy- I didn't have any problems getting around this winter. As I don't need two cars (being single and all) the 4matic was a no brainer. Now if they offered the 4matic on the 600, that would be a different story...

Flobby 4Matic on 600? That means without ABC...

That would be a crime
