iPhone/Bluetooth - '08 CL500
Hi,
My girlfriend's dad bought a CL500 last week and when we are trying to pair it to his (or mine) iPhone 3G it first says that a connection is established, but it still won't work. The COMMAND system says that there is no phone connected.
I've read somewhere here on the forum that you can upgrade your Bluetooth puck, might that be the issue?
I'm familiar to the 2010 E-class, but the 2008 is slightly different.

A 2008 CL would need a BT adapter. Does he have a BT SAP or a BT HF adapter in the car? How did you try to pair the phone?
Sounds like you have paired the phone with Comand (UHIxxxxx by BT name usually) instead of the BT adapter.

You are correct about the UHIxxxxx. I don't know if he has a BT SAP or a BT HF adapter in the car, how do I tell?
I tried by going to "Telephone" chose "Data/Something..." and "Bluetooth", searched for devices found the iPhone och pressed authorize. I don't remember exactly.
Does he need to buy something additional to get it work? Or does he maybe have a phone in the car in which he is supposed to put a SIM-car in?
