Changed CL Grille

I recently switched out my original CL600 grille for an OEM AMG one. I was trying to achieve a more aggressive appearance. What do you all think? (new vs. old shots)

I like it. I'm actually contemplating replacing my grille with the AMG version. What's the part number and cost? Was it easy to install?

It looks awesome. I'm looking to replace my own grille now, but i didn't find anything on ebay. The shipping might also be a problem since i live in Romania, could you please tell me what you searched , on ebay ? Cl grill or w216 grill doesn't work.

I searched "CL63 grille". I found two. One had a damaged clip from a prior accident and the other was new. I opted for the new one since the price differential was only $50USD. Best of luck sourcing one for your CL.

Thanks for the info! The star doesn't come with the grille, right? So, I can simply move the star logo/radar cover to the new grille?

Sorry, I am unable to answer for sure. The one I purchased came with the Distronic center star cover.

Tried the same thing on my CL550, however I couldn't get the clips out, how did you remove the clips?
I have tried a lot of pressure but dont want them to snap?

Thanks

Looks good-grille

I have an '09 black CL63 and actually like the regular grille more. Even the brighter headlights. I think the 600 grille would look better if the silver parts of the stripes were black like the AMG grill.

I replaced my grille on my 2008 with the correct part. My silver paint or coating or whatever had started to peel off. I wish I had thought about buying the more modern version of the grille.

Slightly off topic, but I prefer the non AMG style front bumper cover...anyone know if it is a direct replacement to switch to that, and remove my AMG bumper cover?
