Just picked a set of illuminated door sills on eBay for my CL600. I called my MB parts guy and he said these were no longer available. He did say that the only available accessory parts for sale are AMG ones for $1200 and non-illuminated stainless steel ones for $790 (?).

If you can snap few pictures after installation, that would be very interesting.

Will do. May take some time to figure out if I do it myself. Otherwise, I will send it to my MB dealer to install. Apparently these are no longer available as an accessory post-factory. They quoted me a price $1,200 for the "AMG" illuminated ones and $790 for "Mercedes-Benz" non-illuminated.
