Active Body Control on W216
Hey everyone,
I wanted to do some research on the new CL-Class (W216) and, in particular, the Active Body Bontrol/air-ride suspension issues. I have a W215 CL600 with over 130,000 miles on it now. I'm planning on keeping it since I've spent so much money on repairs, service, and et cetera. Although I'm not a big fan of the new body-style CL's look, I do love the engine options (i.e. CL65 AMG). I had a chance to drive one this summer and it was very smooth and very powerful.
However, is it notorious with the Active Body Control or similar issues? This is directed to owners of the new CL. If it's the same set of problems, I would be real hesitant on buying a W216. Insight and experience is always appreciated. Thanks for your time.
