Anyone selling or can tell me where to buy a CL63 amg grille?

According to the Parts department at my local dealership, these can be ordered and delivered in 3-5 days. Service departments at larger dealerships can install (or do a swap) for a couple hundred bucks and one hour.
The only issue with this route is: The Parts department said they'd need a VIN number prior to ordering... Why would they need that? Year/model wouldn't be enough? A grill swap or grill replacement doesn't impact Title, does it?
