I have a 2007 CL550 with the AMG Package. Is it possible to go with 245/40/19 in the front vs 255/40/19?

I have a somewhat similar question. I need to buy winter tires for my car and a friend of mine is selling his off of a 370z. They are 245/40/19 in the front and 275/35/19 in the rear. Should I buy these?
