Hi there,
My passenger side seat lower lumber support stays inflated even if the scale shows 0. When adjusting to 20 it make noise but then don't deflate. It drives me crazy! Is the valve stuck? is there any way to bleed the air manually? please advice? also the left side support inflates but dose not hold the air.

Hi, I have no answer to your questions. It would be best to bring it to your dealer who can fix it in about hour or two. Let's just consider this technology flawed and know it needs servicing every year or so.

I had bladders fail in both seats with less than 3 weeks remaining on my aftermarket extended warranty. The seat cushion needed to be replaced on the passenger seat. The entire cost of about $5000 was paid for by my warranty company. It looks like the 2007 seat bladders last about 7 years.

Need help on my decision

I'm considering purchasing a CL 550, 2007. 47K miles on it.

Do you guys think 33K out the door is a good price??

Considering the 4,500 for a 2 year warranty.

Or am I better off going with a more recent year?

Would like to get some opinions from current CL 550 owners.

Thanks!

DD seats on both sides are not working

I'm going through it now and my back is killing me because the seat has me leaning sideways while driving, my chiropractor had to realign my body. It's sad when you spend the extra money buying CPO and they find excuses not to repair items that should be covered--- if someone can tell me who else to call to have these seats fix---

After a day or so of the car sitting in the dealer getting "inspected", service rep gives me a call saying they are not covered and its a $1600 fix. What do you guys think? I feel like im being ripped off

CPO and warranty

I am dealing with DD seats not working on my CL550 and they're not covered under CPO. I wouldn't recommend buying it. My car has been in the shop four days now and everyone is making excuses to why it's not cover asking me to pay $3,600.00 to have both seats repaired...

2010 E350, 2015 S550
My 2010 E350 drivers dynamic seat bladder sprung a leak just after the original Mfg. warranty expired. The extended warranty I purchased from the dealer covered everything. Coverage was never brought up as an issue. I guess that that repair already paid for the extra 3 years I bought.

I just bought a 2011 S 550 CPO and bought an extra 2 years on the warranty for a total of 3 years. I hope I don't have any issues with that warranty. Was twice the cost of the 3 years I bought for the E.

My passenger seat lower lumber does inflate while turning up the adjustment and it do deflate while turning it towards "0", but not to "complete empty" like the driver seat does.
When the driver seat adjustment is turned from "1" to "0" you actually hear that the valve opens for at rather long period (5-7 secs) to completly empty the "lumber-bag". That does not happend at the passenger seat, so the lumber bags are always inflated to some extend - I would say to half the scale - annoying me further not sitting in the drivers seat.
From "1" to "0" the valve only opens for a short period - aprox same period as from going from "3" to "2", not letting all the air out . . .
Anybody any idea of what could be wrong/what could fix this ?
Maby the "seat-conyrol-unit" need some basic calibrasion ? (if such thing does exist ?)

This is an old thread... but I'm having the same issues with my 2014 GL550. Dealer stating the CPO isn't covering it. UGH!
